Forget about the notes on the refrigerator with this new feature of Google

The little digital reminders are a useful feature for those who have many responsibilities or maybe a bad memory. And now, the Google Assistant also allow you to assign alerts to other people. The function will be implemented in phones, speakers and screens that are enabled for Google Assistant, while Nest Hub Max Google will come in the course of the fall.

Currently, you can create reminders that are activated on the basis of time and location, but there is no way that can be easily created for other people. With the change, now this is possible and simple.

This is how it works: let’s say, for example, that you want to remind your partner to pick up the children from school at a certain time. The only thing you should say is something like: “Hey Google, remind (name of person) to pick up the children at 4 pm”. By doing so, not only will send an instant notification to the enabled devices for the Google Assistant of your loved one, but also remember at the time that you set.

Like reminders or reminders traditional, those that are assigned can also be configured to trigger when you arrive or leave specific locations. While this is an innovation relatively less in the skills of the Google Assistant, the new feature will surely be welcomed by homes occupied, as a sort of modern version of the notes you used to leave it in the refrigerator.

This latest move follows a recent change in the way that Google handles the reminders in the devices Android. As was reported by Android Police last week, the reminders should now go through the Google Assistant. That means, if you have the Wizard off, you will lose access to the alerts completely.
