What mass exodus? These are the games removed from GeForce Now Nvidia

What happens with GeForce Now Nvidia? The service that allows subscribers to stream games that they have in platforms like Steam or Epic Games Store. However, several editors have removed their games from the new offer of transmission from moving to its beta version in February of 2020.

It all started with Activision Blizzard, in what initially appeared to be an isolated case, but has expanded to multiple editors and dozens of games. Digital Trends met with all of the major game publishers that withdrew from GeForce Now up to now and will be attentive to any change.

Activision Blizzard

The games of Activision and Blizzard, were available in Nvidia GeForce Now during the period of beta, but the agreement between the companies was not extended to its official launch. Activision wanted a trade pact before the games come to a paid service, according to Bloomberg. According to Nvidia, the initial agreement also covered the period after the launch.

“According to your request, the games Activision Blizzard will be removed from the service. While it is unfortunate, we look forward to working together with Activision Blizzard to re-enable these games and more in the future,” said Nvidia in a publication update.
