Almost all models of Android of 2018 had a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 in its interior, including the Galaxy S9. In 2019, it was the turn of the Snapdragon 855 and the Galaxy S10 was one of the first phones with this chip. Offers improved performance and a series of improvements, including advances in artificial intelligence, better connectivity and camera improvements. Samsung also opted to double the RAM in its flagship: the S10 has a whopping 8 GB.
The improvements do not end there since the S10 is also equipped with a larger battery, increasing by 400mAh over its predecessor. Unfortunately, the speed of load cable has not improved the standard Quick Charge 2.0 Qualcomm, but the wireless charging should be faster with the kit right and the S10 can upload wirelessly to other devices certified by Qi through the function called Wireless PowerShare.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S10

Samsung added a screen a little bigger 6.1-inch in-S10, in comparison with the screen of 5.8 inches of S9. It is not only larger, but also with the certification HDR10 +, is very bright, offers accurate colors and emits less blue light. Dynamic AMOLED improves the already amazing Super AMOLED from Samsung and comes with the camera pierced. The screen on the S9 is still one of the best available, but the S10 is superior.

Design and durability

The S10 came with the major design changes that we’ve seen in recent years in the series Galaxy S. as with past versions, the body is a metal frame covered by a curved glass on both sides. However, now the camera module is horizontal and has two additional lenses. In addition, it has fingerprint sensor on the back, which was transformed into a digital one on the screen.

The front part of the S10 is pretty much a full screen, with bezels, thin and a chamber perforated at the top right. The S9 is still attractive, but clearly its successor offers a feeling futuristic.

In terms of durability, both teams are similar. The two will need liners and come with a water resistance rating of IP68, so it can be submerged in up to 5 feet of water (1.5 meters) for up to 30 minutes without suffering any damage.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S10

This is the facet where we find the greatest improvement: the S10 has the same standard lens 12-megapixel with an aperture variable that you will find on the S9, but is now flanked by a lens ultra-wide, 16-megapixel(field-of-view of 123 degrees) and a telephoto lens, 12-megapixel camera (able to do 2x optical zoom lens). The jump of a lens of a camera triple lens means that the camera S10 will be capable of everything the camera S9 could offer and much, much more. If you would like to extend an element distant or expand a landscape, the wide angle lenses and telephoto lenses will help you accomplish this. We also found changes in the frontal part of improving the camera selfie 8-megapixel S9 to the 10-megapixel camera capable of capturing 4K video on the S10.

Winner: Samsung Galaxy S10

The Samsung Galaxy S10 comes equipped from the factory with Android 9.0 Foot and the user interface One Samsung. The Galaxy S9, recently was updated to the same version of Google’s operating system, so that there are no differences in terms of software.

Samsung gives their teams an added value with its customization options, features, and services. Unfortunately, not all of them are really necessary, which tends to delay the Android updates. Anyway, it is a problem that will face both phones. The Galaxy S10 takes the victory because it will surely be supported by more time with the operating system and you will receive future updates on a priority basis.

Special features

Both phones offer support for the desktop Samsung by Dex, and support Samsung Pay, Bixby, Gear VR and other services of the house. We highlight in the newest model of the scanner of fingerprints on the screen and the wireless charging to reverse, although it’s also worth noting that the S10 is capable of supporting a connectivity much faster, assuming that the network must support it. Wifi 6 is faster and more secure, and the S10 can reach up to 2.0 Gbps in LTE.
Winner: Samsung Galaxy S10

Having all these improvements on the Galaxy S10 will not will not cheap: the Galaxy S9 started at $720 usd, while the base model of the Galaxy S10 came on the market for $900 dollars, although both can be found at lower prices retail stores.

Final winner

As expected, the Galaxy S10 Samsung did not disappoint. It is more powerful, looks better and has a camera setup that much more versatile. Justify the extra expense for those who want to make the jump, but the Galaxy S9 is still a phone very interesting.
