Although, this may seem like a bold marketing, it is not the name of any person or company: the phrase could be translated into Spanish as “possible scam”, and in reality is a way in which this provider wants to help you more easily identify those calls from possible scammers, or the annoying automated calls pre-recorded, known as robocalls.

HOW IT WORKS
T-Mobile began implementing its protection services in the year 2017 as a way of helping their clients prevent and avoid automatic calls and other types of spam. These functions were extended subsequently to the users of MetroPCS (a company owned T-Mobile), and are now available for customers of both operators, regardless of the type of phone they are using. The basic coverage is free, but they also have another option to complete with a cost of subscription.
The first service is called Scam ID, which identifies potential calls of scam to make a cross-reference between the number and a database of potential fraud. This label is applied from the side of the operator, which means that you don’t have to worry about downloading any app or special software to your phone. On the other hand, the function of Scam ID that should be enabled automatically, but if for some reason it is not, you can do this by dialing #664# on your device T-Mobile. If, for some reason, really do not want to have enabled this function of protection, you must get in touch with the customer care service or visit a store to clear it.
