Performance, battery life and charging
The Note 10 Plus uses the processor emblem of the year: the Snapdragon 855. It is a chip fast, with a performance extremely good for games and applications. But the iPhone XS Max has the Aion Bionic Apple, that delivers agile performance and a soft play. In this aspect, they are tied.
What happens with the battery? The Note 10 Plus offers a capacity of 4,300 mAh compared to the 3,174 mAh XS Max. We have not yet been able to test the battery of the Note 10 Plus, but according to the performance of the S10 Plus, we expect a duration of little more than a day, although your screen resolution and larger could reduce it. The XS-Max also reaches a day with a single charge. Both phones offer strong capabilities of fast charging. The Note 10 Plus has a maximum of 45W, while the XS has a Max reach to 30W. The Note 10 Plus comes with a charger 25W which, according to Samsung, allows you to charge to 100% in less than an hour. That is much better than the XS Max, whose rapid charger you have to buy it separately. They both also have wireless charging. Although Samsung offers a higher upload speed, we prefer to wait to see how they compare performance and battery life of the Note 10 Plus with the iPhone XS, Max in the real world.
Design and durability
The beauty depends on who looks at it, but we doubt that anyone denies that both phones are attractive. The iPhone is iconic and its screen, notched edge-to-edge and the body of glass with gold effect are impressive. The Samsung is just as eye-catching, but for other reasons. Has No notch, but a perforated screen which extends across the front. Has practically no bezels and it’s amazing. The two phones offer a superb design, but what will be lasting? The glass will always be fragile, so you’ll need a holster for whatever you choose. Fortunately both offer water resistance with classification IP68, so that it can survive a fall into the pool. Both are beautiful for different reasons and are matched in terms of durability, so that in this item we can not give the victory to none.
As befits their names, both handsets have large screens. The iPhone XS Max has a Super AMOLED display of 6.5 inches with a resolution of 2,688 x 1,242 pixels. It is bright and vivid. But the huge screen Dynamic AMOLED display of 6.8 inches on the Note 10 Plus is one of the best. With a maximum resolution of 3,040 x 1,440, it is super-sharp and free of defects. The iPhones have always had excellent screens, but the Samsung’s are the best option.
Winner: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus
The iPhone XS Max has two lenses: one main 12-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and a telephoto lens, 12 megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.4. Takes excellent photos, so that is on our list of the best camera phones. The lens selfie on the front is a TrueDepth of 7 megapixel and capture excellent pictures.
However, it faces an impressive technology. The Note 10 Plus has pushed the limit even further with a system of four lenses: a primary 12-megapixel camera with aperture variable (changes between f/1.5 and f/2.4), an ultra wide-angle 16-megapixel camera with aperture f/2.2, a telephoto lens, 12 megapixel camera with aperture of f/2.1 and a DepthVision that captures depth data. It also has a camera selfie, 10-megapixel on the front, compatible with night mode Samsung when you have low light. Although we have not had many opportunities to play with the camera on the Note 10 Plus based on the performance of the S10 Plus, we predict that the new phone from Samsung will be in this category.
Winner: Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus
Software and updates
The Note 10 Plus run the system Android 9.0 Distance in the interface, One UI of Samsung. Gone are the years in which platform manufacturer surocreano was a disadvantage. Is smooth and intuitive, and also offers excellent controls with gestures. But the iOS 12 the iPhone XS Max is just as good, with an agile performance, a great store of applications and innovations. This is a category close, so the choice will depend on your personal tastes.
However, when it comes to updates, it is something less personal. Apple is the reference in terms of a software support agile and durable. Takes a couple of days to regularly update the devices with up to 3 years old with the latest patches of the operating system. On the contrary, Samsung tends to take more than six months to upgrade their phones and those who have more than 2 years, rarely receive the latest versions of Android. This item is imposed by Apple.
Winner: Apple iPhone XS Max
As phones and flagship, both have many special features. The iPhone XS Max is equipped with the latest Apple technology, which includes facial recognition Face ID, Memojis with technology AR, shortcuts to the assistant Siri and more. The Note 10 Plus benefits of the legacy of Samsung, including Bixby, support VR and features of the range S10, as the scanner of fingerprints on the screen, and Wireless Video.
But is the S Pen that gives the advantage to the Note. It has been redesigned with beveled edges to provide greater comfort and new features. You can use it to draw on the faces with RA, using Air Actions to control the screen and convert handwritten notes to text using Microsoft Word. It also has a desktop mode Dex improved, which can be activated by connecting it to the USB port of a laptop computer.

The iPhone XS-Max is available with prices starting at $1,100 dollars for the model of 64GB. Works on all operators of EE. UU. and is available in a wide variety of shops. The Galaxy Note 10 Plus is available for advance purchase starting August 8, and from 23 August for in-store purchases. Like the iPhone, the Note 10 Plus starts from $1,100 dollars.
After a battle hard fought, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus gets the victory. This is due in large part to the amazing display technology of Samsung, the versatile set of cameras and their special features, including the S Pen. But it is a result narrow. The iPhone XS Max not disappoint you in quality camera or screen, and also has many attributes. But in terms of addressing what will be your best investment, you should choose the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus.
