The technology does not stop: every day they are in the market more top teams, some smaller and almost always more powerful, something that applies equally to tablets. And while the iPad still dominate the market, there is a very specific niche with the best Android tablets that you know, if you’re thinking about buying some.
There are questions that you should answer before even stepping into a store: what do you need? How much do you think to invest? There are many and very different models that can perfectly cover your needs. Google and its robust environment based on Android have made tremendous progress in a short time, including the recent update to version 10.
The following are our favorites:
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6
With a major lack of competition in the high end market of Android tablets, the Galaxy series Tab S from Samsung has been dominant, particularly the S6 is the best release so far.
With a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, the Super AMOLED screen of 10.5 inches is the best you can find. This screen is crisp, bright, ideal for watching movies or playing games. In addition, it features a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
The four speakers tuned with AKG are located at each corner and support Dolby Atmos Sound. They are loud, although inevitably in a lack of bass.
Inside, it has a fast Snapdragon processor 855 with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, which is fast enough for any material you add. You can get the Tab S6 with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, but it also has a MicroSD card slot.
The user interface of Samsung One, is located at the top of Android 9.0 Foot, and you can switch to DeX with a protective cover keyboard, turning your tablet into a replacement laptop can be useful if you run into a trouble.
There is also the S Pen if you like to draw or make your own notes. In case outside little, the Tab S6 is equipped with a large battery of 7,040 mAh that will help you during most of the days.
This tablet has a primary camera dual lens that combines a lens of 13 megapixels with a wide-angle lens 5 megapixel and also a front camera of 8 megapixels.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e
If the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 seems too expensive, quiet, you can still buy a good option and in addition to Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S5e.
This tablet has the same great Super AMOLED screen of 10.5 inches with speakers and quadruple rooms, making it ideal for watching movies or tv programs. It is lightweight and slim, with a fingerprint sensor on the side instead of on the screen.
The big difference is in the interior, where the Tab S5e is based on a Snapdragon 670 mid-range. It comes in two variants, with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Although it also has a space for a MicroSD card.
This tablet has the same battery of 7,040 mAh than his sister, more expensive and has a main camera of 13-megapixel camera with a unique lens and a front camera of 8 megapixels. You will not find support for the S Pen here, but it works with the way DeX of desktop Samsung.
Amazon Fire HD 10
The Fire HD 10 Amazon is the tablet most economical of our list. It has a screen decent with a resolution of 1,920 × 1,200 pixels, surrounded by stereo speakers with support for Dolby Audio, which makes it a good device for watching movies while traveling. The Fire HD 10 is also equipped with Wifi dual bandwidth, so that you can connect to band Wifi 2.5 GHz and 5GHz to get speeds download fast. The tablet has a quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. You do not have a extreme speed, but offers adequate performance considering the price.
You can buy 32 GB or 64 GB of storage, but also supports MicroSD cards. Should last up to 10 hours on a single charge, which is pretty good. This tablet is running the operating system Fire Amazon, a system based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, so any software future and security updates will come from Amazon and not Android. Alexa is built in for voice commands, but as there is a tablet traditional Android, it does not have Google Play Store. That means that you can download apps directly from the apps store of Amazon. On the other hand, if you’d be satisfied with a smaller screen and specifications more limited, Amazon Fire HD 8 is a great option at only $80 dollars.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro
The successor of the MediaPad M3 of Huawei comes with a screen of 10.8 inches, which has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. To use it, it feels (and looks) a tablet premium, and this in spite of its low price. Among the prominent features of the MediaPad M5 Pro we find its stereo speakers –which have worked well with Harmon Kardon– and its cameras front and rear. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the front. The MediaPad M5 Pro works with Android 8.0 Oreo, with the EMUI 8.0 Huawei in its upper part. With a battery of 7500.0 mAh to give you a load of long duration.
