Performance, battery and load
OnePlus was not slow in adopting the latest processors for their phones, so that you can see a clear improvement between a model and the next. The OnePlus 6T has the Snapdragon 845 last year, while the OnePlus 7 Pro boasts the Snapdragon 855 and the OnePlus 7T goes above and beyond with the Snapdragon 855 Plus. The jump in performance potential of the 845 855 is higher than that of the 855 the 855 Plus. To see a tangible difference between the two newer chip from Qualcomm, you should put your phone to the test with something challenging. Both offer enough power to use the newer games without problems. The OnePlus 7T comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the option of 256GB in some markets; that is more than enough for most. With earlier models you have some more options. In terms of battery, there is no big difference between these devices. The OnePlus 7 Pro has the larger battery, but also has the larger screen. All of you will reach for an average day and more. Also you can take advantage of the quick charge with the three, although the 7T and 7T Pro loaded a little faster than the 6T; in 20 minutes you already have the 50%. Do not have option of wireless charging.
Winner: OnePlus 7T
Design and durability
- 1. OnePlus 7T
- 2. OnePlus 7 Pro
- 3. OnePlus 6T
The new OnePlus 7T has some changes striking in its design compared with its predecessors, obvious thing, especially when you see the reverse. OnePlus took a camera module circular that reminds us of the Motorola, in place of the vertical 7 Pro, and 6T. The back is still slightly curved, but OnePlus has opted for a flat-screen tv and brought back the notch in the shape of a tear of the 6T. Fans of the camera selfie style pop-up 7 Pro, thanks to which the front was almost 100 percent screen, you may be disappointed to see the 7T. Although OnePlus has never sought classifications IP with their phones, yes they have noted that they are water resistant. That means that a light rain would likely not be a concern, but if you delve probably not survive. Any of these devices would benefit with a cover, and there is not a winner evident in terms of durability. This is probably a matter of personal taste, but we think that the 7 Pro, with its display free of notches and your camera is vertical, it is the most attractive of the three.
Winner: OnePlus 7 Pro
Screen
Although the three phones boast of AMOLED screens of good quality, only 7 Pro and the 7T offer a refresh rate of 90Hz. This fluid screen is not just for games; there really is a difference in the everyday use and when you slide and you move the sensation is more fluid and responsive. The 7 Pro has the largest screen of the three, and the sharper also, with 516 pixels per inch, compared to 402 pixels per inch of the other two. To round off his domain in this category, the screen on the 7 Pro is free of notches, while the other two have the notch cut in a teardrop shape in the front-facing camera. The three include fingerprint sensors in the screen.
Winner: OnePlus 7 Pro
Camera
The camera of the phone is probably the function that is moving more quickly today, and that’s why the OnePlus 6T dual camera clearly lags the 7 Pro and the 7T, both with three lenses. The two have a sensor 48 megapixel camera with a wide-open aperture f/1.6 and an ultra wide-angle 16-megapixel camera, but the 7 Pro has a telephoto 8-megapixel camera that in the 7T has a 12 megapixel camera. OnePlus has also added a new macro mode to zoom in and expanded its night mode to include the ultra wide-angle lens. Realistically, it is unlikely to observe a big difference between the 7 Pro and the 7T, although the newer model has the advantage.
Winner: OnePlus 7T
Software and updates
The OnePlus 7T comes with Android 10 , and the os Oxygen OS, which is full of useful options for customization and additional features. OnePlus has been given to the work to optimize it in many ways in comparison with the previous version. Something impressive is that the 7 Pro already has the Android update 10, so you can expect the same software experience in either of the two. The OnePlus 6T yes you will receive the update, but at the time of writing this article still did not, which puts them at a slight disadvantage; in addition, being a telephone oldest, and probably does not have support for as long as the other two.
Winner: Tie — OnePlus 7T and 7 Pro
Special functions
OnePlus tends to focus on the basic experience to offer the best relation quality-price, and that means you won’t see too many special features in their phones. The main function that puts the 7T and 7 Pro over other devices badge is your refresh rate of 90Hz on the screen, something that we really would like to see in more phones.

Price and availability
The OnePlus 7T costs $600 dollars and will be available starting October 18. You can purchase directly on the website of OnePlus. The price of the OnePlus 7 Pro starts at around $670 dollars for the model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and is available through OnePlus and in stores of T-Mobile. The OnePlus 6T has fallen from its initial price of $550 dollars to $500 and is also available with OnePlus and T-Mobile.
The champion
Although usually more new is usually better, in this case we would pick the OnePlus 7 Pro on the 7T. Of course, the 7 Pro is much more expensive. The 7T gives a processor more fast and its camera is slightly better, but we think that the screen and the design of the 7 Pro are a factor more tempting. Any way, the 7T is very attractive for its price and offers important improvements over the 6T. If you want to buy one and your decision ranges between 6T and 7T, so it is worth it to pay for the latest phone, but if you already have a 6T there’s probably not enough elements to justify a change.
