Once you’ve finished installing Windows 7, the operating system prompts you to enter your license number. This key allows Microsoft to verify if you have a legitimate copy and a legal Windows 7, even though the updates are no longer available.
If the disk of Windows 7 arrived in an envelope of paper or plastic, it is likely that the key is there. Or, in the cabinet of your computer, you will need to bring a tag (called a COA label, like the one above). Given that, Windows 7 is no longer supported, this key is the only way to install a version legitimate Windows 7 from Microsoft.
Avoid pop-up windows constant Windows asking you to validate the installation with the license number is a good advantage, make sure you have on hand.

How to get a copy of Windows 7
If you do not have an installation disk, you can download an ISO image of Windows 7 directly from the Microsoft website. Remember that you still need a serial key legitimate and matching to have access to download it and later to activate it.
At the bottom there is a window where you have to capture the 25 digits that make up your license number, it is mandatory to write a valid key for you to access and be able to download the ISO file.
Once verified and authorized access, you’ll need to select the version of Windows 7 you wish to download, either 32 bit or 64 bit, and click ok, it will start a download process that, depending on your internet access and your computer, it could take between 10 to 30 minutes.
How to select a type of installation
Make sure your Windows installation disk or USB drive is inserted into the computer and restart your system. When you start, you will receive a message that says “Press any key to boot from the floppy disk or the USB drive”, do so and immediately will enter to the graphic mode (blue color), once you start the setup program of Windows 7, click Install now.

However, if you select Custom, it will erase everything, including your files and programs.

If the hard disk is new, there should be no partition available

You should not format or install Windows on the partition reserved for the system, though, in any way, it will be too small to accommodate a full installation of the operating system, thus minimizing the chances of experiencing complications.

Continue to click the setup program until you start the process. Copying Windows files and expanding files of configuration can bring a good time, so feel free to leave your computer alone for about 15-20 minutes. It is likely that your computer will restart at least once during the process, but you should be restarted immediately in the installation program and continue from where you left off.
Completing the installation of Windows 7
