As part of its presentations at CES 2021, Acer announced three monitors with next-generation specifications that will be available in May.
The first of these is the Nitro XV28, a 4K monitor and IPS technology with a 144Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium. This monitor is also the first from Acer to incorporate HDMI 2.1, so it will be capable of displaying 4K graphics at 120 frames per second (fps). Regarding its connectivity options, it offers a DisplayPort, a USB-C with 65W load, four USB 3.0 and a USB type B
Due to its characteristics, the XV28 is an ideal option for PC gaming enthusiasts who have Nvidia RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics cards, or also PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
The XV28 is priced at $ 899, and while it's not exactly an affordable option, its price is in line with other 4K displays with high refresh rates.
The second monitor in question is the $ 1,099 Predator XB27. It is a 27-inch IPS screen with QHD (2K) resolution compatible with HDR400 and a refresh rate of 240Hz and up to 275Hz.
